Hailey Development focuses on residential and mixed use land development opportunities in the DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas, with a varied portfolio of residential projects ranging in size from small in-fill projects to larger PUD’s. At Hailey Development, landowners, builders, home buying customers and the communities in which we develop are our main priorities. Hailey Development is based in Burtonsville, Maryland.

Founded in 1998 by Rich Thometz, Hailey Development currently has six employees who collectively have in excess of 75 years of combined land development experience. Since 1998, the employees of Hailey Development have been dedicated to developing quality residential and mixed use communities. Building communities is a process that starts with the land owner, gains input from the community and finishes with the home owner. During our company’s history we have worked with a significant number of county governments and local municipalities to help develop communities that will stand the test of time. Every project is planned and developed with a vision for how it will be judged for generations.
