Why I'm a part of LEAFHouse:  "LEAFHouse team goals include creating a center of excellence for the study of sustainable, integrated design processes; changing the way buildings are invented, designed and built; inspiring communities to live synchronistically with the environment, and making visible the tools to do so which can be used NOW.

These goals make me think of these words, uttered by John F. Kennedy:

'We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one we are willing to accept, one that we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win.'

We have accepted the challenges that LEAFHouse brings, and hope you will join us."
