Why I'm a part of LEAFHouse:  "My impetus for joining the Solar Decathlon team occurred the day I saw Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth.  I realized that recycling soda cans and occasionally carpooling with friends is not a large enough effort on my part to help the United States become an environmentally friendly nation.  With a few years of construction experience under my belt, I decided that working with the Solar Decathlon was a good way to help."
