Why I'm a part of LEAFHouse: "I truly believe one would find it really hard not to use solar energy in our daily life. When you look at it, the sun is the basis for almost every other form of energy we use. Whether it comes from winds generated by uneven heating of the earth's atmosphere, water that was once evaporated by the sun's energy before it fell from the sky or from the combination of oxygen and plants/fossil fuels which were produced by plants through the sunlight, we are in someway dependent on the sun. We know the energy is there! Somehow we must just develop better ways to tap that energy a little closer to the source and in ways that have a more digestible impact on the only earth we seem to have available."
